The dashboard gives you highlights of how well your organization is doing in raising money, retaining donors, and accomplishing tasks. Quickly access recent work items from the dashboard, too. Click the Refresh button on the dashboard (not your browser's Refresh button) to update the retention wheel and campaign progress.

The main dashboard areas are

Donor Retention

Bloomerang's Donor Retention wheel gives you an up-to-date look at the percentage of donors you are retaining. Retained donors gave at least once 24 to 12 months ago, and then gave again in the past 12 months. Donations, pledges, pledge payments, and recurring donation payments figure into the donation count. The retention wheel gives you the percentage of how many donors were retained out of all the donors who gave 12 to 24 months ago. The 12-month and 24-month time periods are recalculated every day, so your retention wheel gives you an accurate picture of how many repeat donors you are holding on to. First-Time Donor Calls

The First-Time Donor Calls list displays the top 5 first-time donors you should prioritize calling to increase engagement. For each first-time donor, the tile shows the donor name, gift amount, and gift date. It also shows if another user is following up on the gift. Click a row to see more information about the donor and their gift. Click Enter a Call to create a phone interaction on the constituent’s timeline. See First-Time Donor Calls Basics.

Donations Summary

The Donations Summary area shows you the dollar amount of raised transactions this week, month, or fiscal year. You also see how many raised transactions have been made and the average amount. Click the arrows to cycle the views. Click the total dollar amount in each view to see a detailed report of the raised transactions in that time frame.

Campaign Progress

Active campaigns with a goal are shown on the dashboard. The progress bar shows your funded percentage, how much money has been raised, and the campaign's goal.

If you have multiple campaigns, click the Campaign menu and choose a different campaign. Change the display order for the campaigns by clicking Settings, Campaigns, and dragging and dropping the campaigns into the order you desire.


Two graphs summarize the status of active tasks. The top graph reflects active tasks assigned to you, and the bottom graph reflects all active tasks in your organization. Click a graph to see a list of tasks. See also Tasks.

Sustainability Scorecard

The Sustainability Scorecard looks at a combination of your data in Bloomerang, and a self-assessment to gauge how sustainable your organization is. Click View Now to fill out or access the self-assessment. Don’t see the Sustainability Scorecard in your database? Contact us to upgrade.
