Recurring donations are repeated donations that are given indefinitely on a regular schedule.

They are not used when a constituent promises to give you a fixed amount of money on a certain date (or dates). In that case, you create a pledge.

They are also not used for one-time gifts; enter a donation instead.

When you create a recurring donation, a recurring donation schedule, or list of installments, is also created. Add recurring donation payments, view the schedule, and set an end date if necessary.

Recurring donations appear on the timeline with a gift box icon and are labeled as "Recurring Donation Schedule." A payment made toward the recurring donation is labeled as "Recurring Donation Payment."

The timeline entries display the date, installment amount, and fund. Click an entry to view more information.
