When adding or editing a transaction, you can select an acknowledgement letter from your existing letter templates and assign it to that transaction. The assigned letter may be generated when you save the transaction. You can then download and print the letter.


Generate an Acknowledgement Letter for a Transaction

Select an acknowledgement letter from your existing letter templates to use with a transaction.

  1. Add or go to a transaction.
  2. In the Acknowledgements section, select a letter from the Assign Letter dropdown menu.
  3. Check the Generate Letter on Save checkbox.
  4. Click Save. This displays the letter.
    • To make changes to the letter, click Edit Letter.
    • To download the letter PDF, click Download Letter.

Once the letter is generated, an interaction is saved on the constituent's timeline, and the transaction is marked as acknowledged.
